All seats are not created equal

With less than 24 hours to go, it's totally hit me that this is happening. I'm pumped but the amount of work, organizing, packing, cleaning, and laundry that needs to be done in the next 20 hours is a little intimidating. It's going to be a long day.

I just finished my online check-in for my flight tomorrow. What a helpful little thing! It even told me the weather when I land - 92 degrees, feels like 100, and thunder strorms. Good thing I have an umbrella! I found a really great website though. www.seatexpert.com You type in your flight and if finds your plane and says which seats have extra leg room, bad window views, stationary armrests. Pretty awesome. If you look at the map on the left, Im row 9F the half yellow, half green seat at the exit. If bad stuff happens, I'll, be the first one out. I coudnt decided if I liked aisles for a quick escape and space, or windows for the head rest so I am going to try them both. I was in seat 7F, which is all yellow, so I moved myself to one of the open spots during check in. Also, no one is sitting next to me, yet. Score! More room!!

Also during online check in, I had to say how many bags and special items I would be bringing. When I looked up special items, it said "strollers, wheelchairs, bikes, skis, Hawaiian pineapples". Made me laugh.

Back to work!
The final count down is on!

  1. As your Mother I have given you lots of (un)warranted advice but never did I mention not carrying Hawaiian pineapples on board. I am sorry that I did not give you more life skills.
Enjoy this positive life altering journey.
I wish you travels with minimum problems, days filled with learning and laughter, nights with much needed sleep. I bid you Godspeed !
